The “Alien” fragrance from the famous perfume brand is getting a facelift with its fourth version.

A fourth version of the French house’s iconic fragrance will be unveiled on March 17. It takes the form of “extraordinary water”.

The fragrance
Developed by the noses Véronique Nyberg and Dominique Ropion, this new essence is built around notes of neroli from Tunisia and bergamot tea from Italy. The two perfumes have also opted for a rare flower and cashmere accord, enhanced by waves of white amber and heliotrope.

Vial
Initially purple, the bottle is dressed in a luminous, almost solar hue for this “extraordinary water”. As with its other fragrances, the brand wanted to make a sort of gold-coloured crystalline gemstone.

The countryside
Directed by photographer and director Floria Sigismondi, the campaign also revolves around the theme of light and almost unreal energy.

“To continue the story of Alien, we imagined the continuity of the previous visual: it is the awakening of the Goddess to solar light, like a rebirth by the Sun, source of life on Earth. She receives this light and diffuses it,” explains Christophe de Lataillade, Creative Director, Parfums Thierry Mugler.
