Discover our tips for a successful nail polish application and nails at the top for spring!
Start by applying a base coat to your nails to protect them from coloured pigments and ensure better colour hold.
Apply your nail polish in two thin coats, letting it dry well between them. A trick to removing a slight burr: dip the tip of a toothpick wrapped in a mini-piece of cotton, insolvent and scrape the area gently to be cleaned.
Finish with a layer of topcoat (or, failing that, a base coat) to ensure better colour hold. Insist well at the level of the free edge of the nail because it is at this level that the varnish flakes the most quickly.
